The service
Chinese For Real suggests Chinese names, lets you rank Chinese food, places and more, and lets you share the results. It is free, provided as is, and may change or stop at any time.
Names are suggestions
Our names are checked by a native Chinese speaker, but they are suggestions for fun and learning, not official translations. Before you use a name for anything permanent, like a tattoo, a seal or a document, ask a native speaker you trust to check it.
What you enter
Names you enter must not be offensive or impersonate someone else. We may remove anything that breaks these rules.
You keep any rights you have in what you enter and allow us to display it as part of the service.
Fair use
Don't automate choices, flood the service with requests or try to break it. We limit request rates and may block abuse.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Community rankings are for fun and may be inaccurate.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version.
